Špičkové hadice z EPDM, mezi které patří například Semperflex, nacházejí uplatnění při nejnáročnějších aplikacích. Co to však EPDM je? Pod touto zkratkou se nachází polymer. Z polymerů je dobře známý přírodní kaučuk, který se získává z kaučukovníku. Časem byly vyvinuty druhy syntetického kaučuku se speciálními vlastnostmi. EPDM je vedle SBR, NBR a CR jedním z nejvšestrannějších představitelů těchto syntetických kaučuků.
