Domestic Company of World-Class Quality
One of the leading companies operating in the field of compressed air, not only in the Czech Republic but also worldwide, is the domestic manufacturer ATMOS Chrást s.r.o., which is primarily known for manufacturing screw/piston compressors, screw blocks, and motor generators. The roots of the company date back to 1899, when foundries and engineering works were established in the West Bohemian village, and during the communist regime, the engineering works were part of the national enterprise Škoda Plzeň. It was at the end of this era that the company began licensed production of screw blocks and screw compressors, which over the years have gained great popularity due to their reliability. Since then, ATMOS has introduced more than 25 new types of compressors - creating ranges of mobile, locomotive, or stationary compressors that adhere to the strictest global standards while adding a touch of honest construction, which is so characteristic of ATMOS even in today's consumer era.
Product Range for Everyone
ATMOS continuously works on new compressors, and their features are regularly subject to technological research. Thanks to this, the company has come up with innovative ideas several times, such as when it extremely reduced the noise of stationary compressors without losing top performance parameters, leading to wide export abroad. However, ATMOS also meets the needs of private customers with smaller workshop machines alongside large companies. Another breakthrough moment was the emergence of small and compact Albert compressors, whose product line is continuously expanding and is suitable for hobby use as well. Currently, more than 60 of these types are manufactured, with output ranging from 3 to 22 kW. As the youngest, the company introduces motor generators to the market, thus filling one of the gaps in the domestic market.
