Compressed air pressure regulators

What are air pressure regulators?
The high cost of running a compressor often stems from unnecessary errors. One of the most common ones is unnecessarily high pressure in the air lines, which is not regulated before it gets to the application itself - for example, to the pneumatic tools in the car repair shop. The high pressure and much higher air flow of the tool may last, but you will be wasting thousands and tens of thousands of crowns spent on producing more compressed air. However, the whole situation can be solved simply by connecting a correctly set pressure regulator to the piping. Much less work is done by the compressor, which does not have to switch so often to add compressed air to the air tank. As you know, frequent switching is very detrimental to reciprocating compressors because it is not enough to cool the unit, which puts stress on many components and gradually shortens the life of the compressor.
Dangers associated with high pressure
For example, pneumatic tools do not mind the higher pressure and are not dangerous, but they are extremely expensive to work with if you use them all day and all week. There is a greater danger with blowguns. When blowing under high pressure, chips, dirt or other debris can fly far and wide and can endanger not only the operator but also the employees. A pressure regulator that regulates the air from 10 bar to 2 bar, for example, solves the situation.
Differences between pressure regulators
There are a large number of pressure regulators on the market. The control methods also differ - you can find remote controllers, pilot control or proportional electrically controlled controllers.
