    Use of sheet metal scissors

    Pneumatic shears can be used for the overall processing of sheet metal. You can easily cut whole sheets of sheet metal and coils of sheet metal with them. It is therefore suitable for the production of bodywork and tanks, shipbuilding, in repair shops, as well as for precision curve cutting and many other sheet metal jobs.

    How does a sheet metal cutter work?

    In pneumatic slitting machines, the sheet metal is cut by a punch oscillating in a punch housing with a groove for passing through the sheet metal. This punch leaves a groove in the sheet metal the width of its diameter. When you want to do internal punching into a full sheet metal, you first need to drill an insertion hole with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the punch sleeve.
