Measurement of pressure and temperature of the medium
In the measuring technology category you will find pressure gauges for measuring the pressure of compressed media in various designs. We offer from simple plastic gauges with an accuracy of 2.5%, to robust stainless steel gauges with an excellent accuracy of 0.6% deviation. You can measure the temperature of the medium using industrial thermometers, which are also included in the offer. Pressure transducers with various switching, switching on, switching off or switching on functions are used for sensing the pressure and subsequent conversion to an analogue electrical signal. If you have special requirements for measuring complex media and high temperatures, send us an enquiry and if you simply want to find out more about the range and how to choose a manometer, thermometer and sensor, click on continue.

Choosing the right type of manometer
When selecting a manometer, we recommend that you consider the following aspects - connection, scale range, mechanical resistance and display accuracy. If you really need the most accurate pressure gauge, choose the one in glycerine. We offer instruments with standard accuracy classes of 0.6%, 1.0%, 1.6%, 2.5%, and on request we can also supply even higher accuracy types with panel mounting - these are not variants standing on a fixed thread in a free space. For more detailed information on choosing the right pressure gauge, see this article from our advice section: how to choose a pressure gauge
WIKA thermometers
Are you choosing a technical thermometer for industry and other areas? For aggressive media, we recommend thermometers in stainless steel with a maximum medium pressure per sump (recommended for increased lifetime of type A) of less than 25 bar, for non-aggressive media you can use the aluminium version of the thermometer, where the recommended maximum medium pressure per sump is 6 atmospheres.
Pressure sensors and switches
Pressure transducers and switches are used to convert pressure into an analogue signal - you can use them especially in automation technology when you are about to connect other devices. Pressure switches se see to it that he has compressed air the pressure you need in the airlock. Switch monitors the pressure in the airbox and when the pressure drops below the set lower limit, the switch will turn on and engage the electrical circuit. This starts the electric motor that drives the compressor. A comprehensive article on pressure switches can be found here: How to pressure switches
