    Compressed air cyclone water separators

    Do you need to effectively get rid of condensate from your compressor system?     Principle and function of cyclonic forgiveness

    • Compressed air containing condensed water is fed into the cyclone discharge.
    • Here, the air flow changes from direct to rotary, due to the circular shape of the vessel, due to the rotation and the centrifugal force, the condensate droplets start to collect on the inner wall from where they flow to the bottom of the device, while the moisture-free air passes through the coarse filter screen to the centre of the device and then to the outlet.
    • In this way you can get rid of most of the condensate in the air cheaply and efficiently.
    • Downstream equipment such as dryers and filters are no longer subjected to unnecessary stress, their service life is increased and maintenance costs are reduced.

    How to get rid of condensate?

    The condensate obtained from the compressed air must be treated in such a way that it does not harm the environment before being discharged into the waste water. Disposal is most often carried out by a specialist company or by using a separator, which removes oil and solid impurities from the condensate by filtration and gravity. After passing through the separator, most of the condensate can be discharged into the waste and only a small part is sent for professional disposal. In this way, most of the condensate can be got rid of cheaply and efficiently.
