Ball valves and fittings
In this category you will find all kinds of taps and other fittings you will need for regulating and closing compressed air, water, gases and other media. We also have pneumatic and electrically operated versions of the taps, which can be used when compressed air or electricity is available near the application site. The individual subcategories will easily guide you to your correct product - and you can also use the product filter. For more information on taps and valves, click on continue.

Fittings, under which you can think of taps with different types of control, seat valves and gate valves, represent an incredibly broad and wide category of products for controlling and closing different types of media, not only compressed air. Making the right choice is easier when you know exactly which solution is right for your application. For example, our breakdown can help you:
Distribution of fittings according to construction
- ball valve in conventional or industrial design - inside the ball valve there is a rotating drilled element, perpendicular to the pipe axis, which rotates 90°
- saddle valve - inside the circular seat is a cone that moves a screw perpendicular to the axis of the pipe
- gate valve - the working element is a flat plate with a hole that slides perpendicular to the pipe
How to choose a fitting?
Determining the correct fitting size
If you get the wrong size fitting, you will definitely have problems with its operation and it will also not match the performance. An oversized or undersized valve can choke the flow of the medium passing inside or increase the cost of operating the entire system due to inefficiency. Standard fitting sizes can range from ½" to 6". On our e-shop you have the advantage that many parameters can be filtered - brightness, connection, thread, etc. This will make your choice easier.
Choosing the right material
Fittings are most commonly made of stainless steel, carbon steel, common steel, brass and cast iron. Beware if you work with aggressive and corrosive media. A cheap steel tap won't do then. Fortunately, we do not lack any of the variants - you can always find the specification in the product parameters. For example, stainless steel taps can look like this, special taps for flammable gases made of brass like this and cast iron taps like this.
Determination of the working pressure and volume of the medium
Each application may have different flow requirements and operate at different pressures. Determine the volume of air, gas or liquid that will pass through the valve. The working pressure also varies according to the application for ball valves and other fittings. If you do not know what to do in this respect, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Later maintenance of the fitting is important
Fittings generally require relatively low maintenance. However, cheap solutions can have their downsides due to saving money in the wrong places - typically on sealing elements. Then maintenance is really important, otherwise the fitting may stop sealing properly. Teflon seals can improve the quality of fittings. Choosing a quality tap or valve also ensures that you get a long-lasting product that requires less maintenance and provides optimal performance.
Please take the above parts into consideration when making your selection, so that the fitting will serve you excellently for a long time. And if you already have a clearer understanding of the selection, you can try this signpost in addition to the subcategories on the e-shop:
